Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, has recently made a statement regarding the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi.

According to Omokri, Obi did not achieve anything significant during his time in office.

In an interview on the “Mic on Podcast” hosted by journalist Seun Okinbaloye, Omokri stated that Obi did not start, complete, or commission any schools while he was the governor of Anambra State from June 2007 to March 2014.

He even went on to compare Obi’s performance to that of the chairman of Eti-Osa Local Government Area in Lagos State, claiming that the latter had more achievements in governance.

Also, Omokri questioned Obi’s educational qualifications, stating that he was the least educationally qualified among the top three presidential candidates in the 2023 elections.

Omokri stated that in terms of achievements while in office, Obi paled in comparison to other prominent candidates such as Tinubu and Atiku.

Omokri concluded his statement by expressing his skepticism about Obi’s chances of winning in any presidential election, stating that even if the election were held ten times, Obi would still not emerge as the victor.
