The Saudi Arabia Professional Football League recently announced their Team of the Season for 2022/23, with Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo making the cut.
Despite Al Hilal losing their league champion title to Al Ittihad, Ighalo’s impressive 19 goals earned him a spot on the list, making him the only Al Hilal player to do so.
This is not the first time Ighalo has been recognized for his skills, as he also made the list last season after helping Al Hilal win the title with 24 goals.
