However, Senegal equalized with a left-foot volley from Habib Diallo and took the lead when Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos scored an own goal.
Mane then added a third goal with a superb curling shot, and although Brazil halved the deficit with another goal from Marquinhos, Mane secured Senegal’s victory with a penalty in stoppage time.
