Senator Dino Melaye, a member of Atiku and Okowa’s Presidential Campaign Council, has expressed vehement disagreement with the Chairman of INEC, Mahmood Yakubu.
On Saturday, Melaye declared on Twitter that Yakubu must step down for his involvement in ‘criminal audacity’ and ‘impunity’, claiming that he was responsible for rigging the electoral results.
PDP had charged the police and DSS to investigate Yakubu due to supposedly suspicious practices from INEC during the February 25th presidential election but his Press Secretary denied these accusations and urged for tangible proof to be provided as evidence.
Taking it a step further, Melaye called for Yakubu’s termination due to his involvement in ‘yahoo yahoo’ activities at INEC.
He repeated his call once more: “Mahmood must goooo.”
