Super Eagles coach José Santos Peseiro has announced his squad for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone in Monrovia.

The squad includes captain Ahmed Musa, goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye, defender William Ekong, midfielder Alex Iwobi, and forward Moses Simon, among others.

In-form forward Victor Osimhen, who recently received the National Award of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic and a special ball and jersey from FIFA, tops the strikers’ list.

The Super Eagles are currently leading their qualification group with nine points out of four matches, followed by Guinea Bissau’s Wild Dogs with seven points.

The match against Sierra Leone will take place on Sunday, June 18, at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium in Monrovia, as Sierra Leone does not have any approved stadium for international matches.
