Super Eagles move up in Latest FIFA rankings, remain sixth in Africa

In the latest FIFA rankings, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have moved up one spot to 39th place.

However, they remain in sixth place in Africa.

This improvement in ranking comes after their victory against Sierra Leone in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Despite the climb in the overall rankings, Nigeria is still behind Morocco, Senegal, Algeria, Tunisia, and Egypt in Africa.

The top-ranked African team is Morocco, who are placed 11th in the world rankings.

Argentina holds the top spot in the rankings, followed by France, Brazil, England, and Belgium.

The top ten is completed by Croatia, Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.
