Tecno Pouvoir 4 Pro Price in Nigeria

The price of Pouvoir 4 Pro from Tecno Mobile cost $185 which is N72,150 Naira @ N390 / dollar.

Design

Pouvoir 4 Pro is a mid-range smartphone.

The design is far from being terrible, and neither is it one of the best out there.

The phone measures 174.9 × 79.6 × 9.2 mm; if you can compare that dimension to the dimension of a phone close to you, you’d have no problem learning that Pouvoir 4 is a pretty large phone.

And for the sake of ease, for those who need the dimension in inches, the phone measures 6.89 x 3.13 x 0.36 inch.

It wouldn’t be wrong to say the Pouvoir 4 is one of the largest mid-range phones currently available in the market.

However, despite how large the device is, it happens to have a mass falling within the range of the standard for 2020 mid-range smartphones.

And this lightness we can attribute to the plastic case of the phone and many other things.

For those who aren’t aware, both the Pouvoir 4 and Pouvoir 4 Pro have similar designs.

In other words, the Pro version is not necessarily more beautiful than the standard versions. So when deciding on which version to buy, design wouldn’t matter.

Processing Power

Pouvoir 4 Pro is powered by an impressive set of hardware.

And as you would expect, these hardware are more powerful than those powering the standard version of the phone.

Function as the processor of the phone, is an octa-core processor.

Being more elaborate, the chipset which powers the phone, is the MediaTek Helio P22. The chipset is a thing we’ve seen in a lot of cool mid-range smartphones.

In other words, you have nothing to worry about, as regards the performance of the chipset.

The chipset can not be compared to those of high-end smartphones, but be assured the phone would perform well, for the kind of people it was designed for.

The octa-core processor featured in the MediaTek Helio P22, works with the help of a 4 GB RAM.

This is larger, compared to the 3 GB of the standard version of the phone. In other words, this is one of thing you might to take into consideration, when deciding on whether to opt-in for the standard version or the Pro version,

As for the graphics processing of the phone, this handles by the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. A lot of you may have never heard about the GPU, but be assured it ain’t a crappy GPU.

I’ve played games on phones powered by this GPU, and I must tell you, the experience is really okay. In short, the aspect of GPU is also not a thing you have to worry about.

Display

Earlier on, I stated that Pouvoir 4 Pro is a pretty large phone.

But that doesn’t mean it has an ample amount of bezel. The reason behind its radical largeness, is its display.

While most mid-range phones come with displays measuring between 6.30 inches and 6.70 inches, the Pouvoir 4 comes with a display having a 7.00-inch display.

This is truly large and enticing, but you should understand that this doesn’t mean the 7.00-inch would look like that of a tablet.

While the 7.00-inch displays of tablets are often wide, the 7.00-inch display of this phone comes with a display as wide as those of most mid-range phones.

And the height of the display is rather what’s impressive about the phone. In short, Pouvoir 4 Pro is not necessarily a good replacement for a tablet.

The 7.00-inch display of the Pro comes with a resolution of 720 x 1,640: this leaves the screen with a pixel density of about 256 PPI.

There’s not special about a pixel density of 256 PPI, but that doesn’t mean you’d be disappointed with the display of the phone.

With a screen brightness rated at 480 nits, be assured you’d also have no problem using the phone in under a bright sun.

But this doesn’t mean you can use the brightness just anyhow. The more bright you make the display, the more power it consumes.

In other words, before increasing the brightness, you should understand there’s a price you’d pay for an increase in brightness.

Operating System

Pouvoir 4 is smart device powered by a custom Android operating system. And I don’t expect this to come as a surprise.

The HiOS 6.1 which powers the phone, is based on the Android 10 OS. In other words, you’d get to enjoy on this phone, all those nice things you’ve read about the Android 10 OS.

Storage

The aspect of storage is another reason why you might prefer Pouvoir 4 Pro over the standard Pouvoir 4.

While the standard version of the standard version comes with a 32 GB internal storage, the Pro version features an internal storage of 64 GB.

However, this doesn’t mean the whole 64 GB of storage would be available for your own use.

Just like every other phone, the OS, pre-installed apps, and files that come with the phone are stored on the storage of the phone.

So the total amount of space available to you, would be less than 64 GB. But regardless of how much storage item are packed on the phone, expect at least 50 GB to be available to you.

Camera

Pouvoir 4 and Pouvoir 4 Pro majorly differ in three aspects, and the aspect of camera is the third.

While the standard version of the phone features a 13 MP front camera, the Pro version comes with an 8 MP front camera.

But not only is the resolution of the front camera significantly higher, the front camera of the Pouvoir 4 Pro also happens to significantly more enhanced.

In short, if you’re a very big fan of selfies and can afford the Pro version, then you should consider choosing it over the standard Tecno Pouvoir 4.

The two phones also differ, when it comes to the set of rear cameras they feature. The standard version of the phone features the following rear cameras: a 13 MP, a 5 MP, a 2 MP, and a 2 MP.

As for the Pro version, the set of rear cameras it features are: a 16 MP, a 5 MP, a 2 MP, and a 2 MP.

The Pouvoir 4 Pro rear cameras furthermore happen to be more enhanced than those of the standard Tecno Pouvoir 4.

Final Note

Pouvoir 4 Pro is a pretty good Tecno phone and with its price in Nigeria, it doesn’t disappoint in any aspect.

Rather than disappointing, it impressed us in some aspects. In short, if you can afford the phone, it’s not a thing that would end up a regret.

I’d also like to state that people who do a lot of document typing on their phone, would find this phone better than most other mid-range smartphones in the market.

And for those who wonder if the phone comes with 5G support, the phone does not.
