Ray Stevenson, the beloved British actor known for his roles in The Punisher, Star Wars Rebels, and Black Sails, has passed away at the age of 58.
Stevenson’s representatives confirmed that he died just four days before his birthday on May 21st, after being hospitalized due to an illness while filming the upcoming drama film Cassino on the Italian island of Ischia.
Stevenson had a diverse filmography, including roles in the Thor movies and the Divergent trilogy, as well as TV roles in Dexter and Rome.
He was set to appear in the upcoming Disney+ Star Wars series, Ahsoka.
