President-elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu called on all Nigerians, regardless of political orientation, to join hands together in order to build a better future for the nation.
After he was presented the Certificate of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairperson Professor Mahmood Yakubu, Tinubu highlighted that the document is a representation of collective democratic attainments as well as a reminder that an important trust and duty will soon be transferred to another.
He further encouraged Nigerians to believe they can achieve great things despite potential biases or hardships – including even becoming president of Nigeria one day like him.
Tinubu believes that these goals are achievable if we do away with our prejudices and live up to democratic principles which guarantee equality among citizens.
