Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq has bought historic Nigerian club Ranchers Bees alongside politician Hon. Bello El-Rufai – www.naijnaira.com reports.
He named former AS Roma defender Nura Abdullahi as club president to lead its revival.
“This is about hope, opportunity, and pride for Kaduna,” Sadiq said.
The team, now called Ranchers Bees Kaduna, will play in the Nigerian National League.
They aim for NPFL promotion within two seasons, backed by a youth academy.
Founded in the 1970s, Ranchers Bees once produced stars like Daniel Amokachi.
Kaduna’s FA pledged full support for the project.
