Iyabo Oko, a veteran Nollywood actress, has passed away at the age of 62.
The news of her death was announced by her daughter on Facebook, stating that she passed away on Wednesday evening.
Prior to her death, Oko had been battling with ill-health, which led her to take a break from the movie industry.
Born on November 15, 1960, in Iwo Local Government Area of Osun State, she was known by various stage names such as “Iyabo Oko,” “Apoti Aje,” and “Sisi Mama.”
