Roberto Calenda, the agent of Victor Osimhen, has denied reports that his client will not sign a new contract with Napoli.
Osimhen, who had an impressive season with Napoli, scoring 26 goals in 32 games, has attracted interest from top clubs in Europe.
Napoli is eager to secure his future with a new deal, but Calenda dismissed rumors of any contract dispute.
Taking to Twitter, he called out a report from Il Mattino, stating that it was “fake news” and that Osimhen has no intention of exploring other options in the market.
“I read in Il Mattino that ‘Calenda has no intention of renewing in the summer and that he wants to explore all avenues in the market first’. Fake news.”
Osimhen still has two years left on his current contract with Napoli, and the club is not willing to sell him unless a significant offer is made.
