In a viral video circulating online, terror group leader Malachi Baleri has bragged that he has enough of the new naira notes to purchase weapons.
A video has gone viral showing a notorious terrorist leader, Machalla Baleri, boasting of possessing wads of the new Nigerian naira notes.
The money is said to be enough for him to purchase weapons and join other bandits in their activities amidst the current scarcity of cash in banks across the country.
Most banking halls have been empty due to a lack of funds, drawing large crowds to those few ATMs that currently have cash.
In the two minutes-twenty seconds unverified video clip, Baleri claims he has N10 million of the new naira notes.
The bandit leader is heard saying that he has plenty of money to purchase more weapons, as his followers can be seen brandishing naira notes.
