President Bola Tinubu is expected to send his list of ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation.
Some of the top names on the list include Nasir El-Rufai, Dele Alake, Adegboyega Oyetola, Wale Edun, Nyesom Wike, Adebayo Adelabu, and Beta Edu.
It is speculated that the President will also include leaders from the Peoples Democratic Party to form a government of national unity.
The list is expected to include 43 names, one nominee per state, and representatives from each of the geopolitical zones in the country.
‘’I know Mallam Nasir el-Rufai is on the list; the lawmaker representing Lagos East senatorial district, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, too may be on the list if he is not changed. Former Osun State governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola too is there. Legal luminary, Mr Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, may likely emerge as the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice because last week, he was still being debated.”
The unveiling of the list is anticipated to happen today.
