Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has broken her silence, explaining why she chose not to respond to Lizzy Anjorin’s repeated insults, curses, and death wishes directed at her family and grandson — www.naijnaira.com reports.
According to Naija News, Lizzy Anjorin has consistently taunted Iyabo and even extended her attacks to her grandson, Rakeem Mkambala.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, Iyabo admitted it has not been easy keeping quiet, but she said she did it because she believes in leaving distractions to God.
She revealed that her lawyers are already documenting every statement, stressing that she is prepared for whatever legal battles may come next.
“My people, over the past few months, it has been strictly about focusing on family while my legal team takes note and prepares me for the battles ahead,” she wrote.
Iyabo also explained that becoming a grandmother has shifted her priorities, as supporting her daughter Priscilla in her new journey into motherhood demands her full attention.
The actress made it clear that her silence should not be mistaken for weakness, saying, “Silence can be powerful, and while it’s not always easy for me, I know it’s sometimes necessary.”
She assured her followers that once she returns to Lagos, she will confront the matter directly and take the necessary steps to defend herself and her loved ones.
“Who God has blessed, no one can curse,” Iyabo declared, thanking fans for their support, prayers, and messages of concern.
