Joao Felix had a short-lived debut for his new club Chelsea on Thursday, January 12, when he was sent off in the 58th minute.
Before his premature exit, the Atletico Madrid loanee proved to be one of Chelsea’s better players with OptaJoe noting that he had the most shots, shots on target and successful take ons of any player at Craven Cottage prior to being dismissed.
The incident ultimately did not affect the game’s outcome as Willian and Vinicius scored first-half goals which were eventually enough to seal a 2-1 win for Fulham.
Despite being sent off, Joao Felix provided a glimpse of what he can offer his side going forward before returning from suspension.
