Dwayne Johnson has taken to Instagram to share his gratitude after his mum, Ata Johnson, managed to survive a gruesome car crash.
The former professional wrestler thanked the Los Angeles emergency services for their assistance and thanked God for looking after his mum who survived lung cancer, a difficult marriage, an accident with a drunk driver and an attempted suicide.
He posted a photo of the mangled car on Instagram and urged his followers to hug their parents tightly as you don’t know when you’ll get a 3am call no one wants to receive.
Following Johnson’s post fans sent him support for his mother to which he replied with appreciation.
Last summer it was Dwayne’s turn to surprise his mum with her dream home as she said it would be her last before settling down in one place.
He reflected on how when he was young it used to break his heart when she cried but these days he was happy for tears of joy.
