Ahead of the Arsenal vs Brentford clash, Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has given an update on Gabriel Jesus’ return from injury.
Jesus has been recovering from knee damage he sustained at the World Cup in December and has been running on outdoor pitches recently – however, Arteta has confirmed that this is still in its early stages and there is no current set date for his comeback.
The Spaniard did say though that Jesus was “doing really well” with regard to his recovery.
Saturday’s match against Brentford will be Arsenal’s first game since a 1-0 loss at cup rivals Everton.
