Senator Shehu Sani has clarified the struggle unfolding between President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Amid the party’s resistance to some of Buhari’s policies such as the Naira redesign and cash withdrawal restrictions, Sani believes that Buhari wants his leadership to tackle money influence in Nigeria’s political system, something that APC leaders fear could cost them an election win.
To ensure a successful journey to their victory, APC members rely on vote-buying tactics, which Buhari’s policies seek to prevent.

Senator Sani gave his own definition of this “family war” by linking it back to hoping for success without money`s power in Nigerian politics.
