Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State has warned the public against rumours of any ongoing recruitment process.
Dr. Williams Abah, who has been reaching out to people with a promise of helping them secure employment at OAU is an imposter and the university urges anyone dealing with him to be cautious.
According to a statement released on Sunday by the university’s spokesperson, Abiodun Olanrewaju, all recruitment processes conducted by OAU must follow due process and will be advertised in two widely read national dailies as well as its website.
The university also warns that it does not solicit monetary or material gratification, nor advertise its recruitment exercises on social media.
Consequently, anyone transacting business with the imposter does so at their own risk.
