American rapper 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was reportedly attacked by a group of men in the bathroom of an LA Fitness gym in South Florida on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old sustained injuries to his face and bruises and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to his attorney, Lance Lazzaro, the rapper was caught off guard and tried to fight back, but the attackers were too many.
The gym staff called the police, and 6ix9ine was transported to the hospital by ambulance. He suffered injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back.
It is unclear why the rapper was targeted, and he did not have security with him at the time of the incident.
