According to James Faleke, the secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Nigeria’s new president, Bola Tinubu, will reveal his cabinet members within 60 days of his inauguration.
The ceremony, which is currently taking place at the Eagle Square in Abuja, also includes the swearing-in of Kashim Shettima as vice-president.
Faleke stated in an interview with Channels TV that Tinubu will announce his cabinet as soon as possible, in accordance with the law.
The 16 constitutional amendment bills signed into law by ex-President Muhammadu Buhari in March 2022 require the president and governors to submit the names of nominated ministers or commissioners within 60 days.
Faleke believes that Tinubu’s administration will act differently and live up to its mantra of ‘Renewed Hope’.
