2baba, the veteran Nigerian singer, recently revealed the reason behind building a multi-million naira music studio at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
According to the music icon, he built the studio as a way of reciprocating the kind gesture extended to him by the university.
He was inducted as a Fellow into the university’s School of Music, which he treasures, and the honorary degree the university gave him was a huge honor.
He promised to build a standard music studio for the tertiary institution, which he fulfilled.
His aim was to give the students a standard space for creativity, and he hopes that the next generation of superstars will generate from there.
Additionally, he revealed that his next album will be packaged in that studio.
