There is controversy surrounding President Bola Tinubu’s alleged decision to remove the names of former governors Nyesom Wike and Abdullahi Ganduje from the ministerial list.
However, allies and supporters of Wike and Ganduje are urged to dismiss this report, as it is claimed to be the work of mischief makers.
Chief Tony Okocha, the coordinator of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Vanguard, stated in an interview that the rumor has no basis and that Wike is a supporter of President Tinubu.
Okocha emphasized that the person spreading the news is not affiliated with the Department of State Service or the presidential villa, raising questions about the source of the story.
He then asked: “Where then did he get the story that Wike’s name was removed by the security service?”
