Dangote Refinery announces new Diesel and Aviation Fuel Prices with reduction

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has once again announced a significant reduction in the prices of diesel and aviation fuel. The prices have been lowered to N940 and N980 per litre respectively. This marks the third time that Dangote Refinery has reduced the prices of these fuels.

Previously, the price of diesel had been reduced from around N1,750 per litre to N1,200 per litre, then to N1,000 per litre, and now to N940 per litre. This move by Dangote Refinery is aimed at mitigating the economic hardships faced by Nigerians.

According to Mr. Anthony Chiejina, the Head of Communication at Dangote Refinery, this reduction in prices is part of the company’s commitment to alleviating the impact of economic challenges in Nigeria. He also mentioned that Dangote Refinery has entered into a strategic partnership with MRS Oil and Gas Stations to ensure that fuel is available at affordable prices in all their stations, including those in Lagos and Maiduguri.

Mr. Chiejina further stated that the partnership will be extended to other major oil marketers in order to prevent retail buyers from purchasing fuel at exorbitant prices. The Dangote Group is dedicated to improving the welfare of Nigerians, and these new prices are expected to contribute to that objective.

With this latest development, consumers can now purchase diesel for as low as N1,050 per litre and aviation fuel for N980 per litre at major airports where MRS operates.
