Top comedians from across Nigeria are getting ready to bring laughter and energy to Ughelli as “Comedy Appointment with Mc Obaro (Ughelli Version)” takes the stage on Good Friday, April 17, 2025.
According to The Nation, the event will be held at Fisata Hotel in Ughelli and will be led by the charismatic MC Obaro, whose real name is Obaro Okpalefe.
The night promises a packed lineup of crowd favorites, including Maleke, Mc Edo Pickin, Mc Casino, Young Elder, Mc Passion, and I Go Dye.
Guests can expect a mix of stand-up comedy, musical interludes, skits, and a few surprise acts to keep the excitement going.
The show is organised by Ojeki Integrated Services and is already generating buzz among comedy lovers across Delta State.
Ojo Osahon Hopkins, popularly known as Legendary Ojeki, is the event’s producer. He shared his vision behind the show, saying, “This is not just a show, it’s an experience. Our goal is to create a platform that entertains, uplifts, and unites people through laughter.”
Ojo has been actively involved in the entertainment space since 2019, focusing on creating opportunities for young talents across Edo and Delta States.
Through his work with Ojeki Integrated Services, he has organised over ten major events aimed at encouraging creativity and community engagement.
He also shared plans to expand into filmmaking with the upcoming launch of Ojeki TV on YouTube, which will feature titles such as Lost Soul and Love—projects designed to tell stories that connect with everyday realities.
For Ojo, storytelling—whether through comedy or film—is about connecting with people in ways that make them feel heard and understood.
