Umuahia, the capital of Abia State, is getting ready for a big event on Friday, June 27, 2025, to celebrate the official launch of Don FM 103.7 and Ikoro FM 93.3, NaijNaira can report.
Saturday Beats confirmed that the celebration will kick off at Umuawa Alaocha Town Square by 10 am, featuring cultural dances, traditional performances, and a live broadcast to signal the stations’ first moment on air.
Top Nigerian artists like Davido, Timaya, Kcee, Bright Chimezie, Peruzzi, Zlatan, Zoro, and Jeriq will perform at the launch.
Also attending are popular personalities including Cubana Chief Priest, Sabinus, and Funnybone, who are expected to bring more excitement to the day.
Later, the crowd will move to Umuahia Township Stadium, where a music and comedy festival will keep the celebration going.
The driving force behind this event is Lucky Igbokwe, widely known as Don Lulu, a respected media entrepreneur and philanthropist.
The impressive turnout of celebrities shows the strong support Don Lulu has built over the years.
Don FM is designed to attract young and digital-savvy listeners with modern shows and lively content.
Ikoro FM will focus on preserving Igbo culture through local stories, folk music, and traditional programming.
