According to Official Charts UK, Timeless was released on March 31, 2023, and quickly gained traction across digital platforms. It dominated charts on Spotify Nigeria, Audiomack, Boomplay, and YouTube, reaffirming Davido’s influence in the global music space.
The 17-track project blends Afrobeats, highlife, reggae, dancehall, konto, and Afropop. Notable guest appearances include Asake, Skepta, The Cavemen, Fave, Dexta Daps, and Angelique Kidjo.
Davido received three Grammy nominations tied to the album: Timeless for Best Global Music Album, “Unavailable” for Best African Song Performance, and “Feel” for Best Global Song Performance.
“This album was about evolution and energy,” Davido shared in a previous interview. “It’s the most honest music I’ve made.”
