Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, has denied claims that he left the All Progressives Congress for the African Democratic Congress – www.naijnaira.com reports.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Mustapha said the circulating report linking him to an opposition alliance was false and without basis.

“My attention has been drawn to a news story associating me with the opposition alliance and the ADC. This is fake news,” he stated.

He stressed that he has not held any talks with members of the opposition or their partners.

Mustapha described himself as a founding member of the APC and maintained that he would not abandon a party he helped create.

According to him, internal issues should be resolved from within, not by defecting.

Mustapha served as SGF from 2017 to 2023 and urged the public to dismiss the speculation.
