Adamu Faces Backlash Over Lukman's Accountability Demands

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Abdullahi Adamu, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is facing backlash from the Progressives Right Group (PRG) over demands for accountability.

The group is calling for Adamu to convene a national executive committee (NEC) meeting where he will present the party’s financial records.

This comes after Salihu Lukman, vice-chairman of the party in the north-west, asked the federal high court in Abuja to compel Adamu and Iyiola Omisore, the party’s secretary, to publish APC’s financial records.

The PRG expressed disappointment that Adamu has not refunded nomination fees to all the aspirants that stepped down in the build-up to the party’s last convention, despite President Muhammadu Buhari’s instruction.

The group also criticized the party for conducting affairs at the expense of the party’s constitution and called for a return to constitutionalism.

The PRG stands by Lukman and demands that Adamu call for a NEC meeting immediately and “render the necessary accounts”.
