Victor Osimhen continues to draw attention from top clubs, with Liverpool now linked to a potential swap deal involving Darwin Núñez, NaijNaira can report.
Italian agent Bruno Satin shared insights on Osimhen’s situation, telling Kiss Kiss Napoli that Liverpool’s interest is real, but the striker’s future remains unpredictable.
“Osimhen is an unpredictable guy, I don’t know where he goes in the future,” Satin said during the interview.
Satin, who works with B&S Partners, acknowledged Núñez’s strength and speed but noted the Uruguayan hasn’t quite clicked at Liverpool.
“Núñez? He’s strong, physically, is an animal, but he is also fast. In Serie A, one like him makes a difference. I know that in Liverpool, he’s no longer doing well, and his wife wants to leave, too,” Satin explained.
Liverpool signed Núñez from Benfica in 2022 for €85 million, but the forward has only managed 25 goals and 16 assists across 95 Premier League appearances.
With Arne Slot keen to rebuild the squad this summer, Liverpool will only pursue a high-profile striker like Osimhen if Núñez leaves.
Osimhen, fresh off a loan spell with Galatasaray, remains on Napoli’s books with a €75 million release clause.
The Serie A side has shown no interest in swap offers and insists that any club hoping to land Osimhen must meet his full valuation.
Satin believes any move would also depend on how Osimhen fits in tactically, especially with other forwards like Romelu Lukaku in the mix at Napoli.
