Antonio Conte has declared his loyalty to Tottenham Hotspur, despite speculation of unrest amongst supporters.
After the success of Monday night’s Premier League win over Fulham – where the team secured all three points thanks to a fantastic strike from Harry Kane – Conte insisted ‘I’m really proud to be Tottenham manager.’
The Spurs boss added that while they are now fifth in the table and keeping up with expectations, they still have ‘to fight until the end and see where we finish,’ calling on his players to ‘make it difficult to play against us’.
Conte also praised Kane, noting that ‘today he was amazing’ despite having had a fever.
Reflecting on this gesture of dedication and commitment, Conte underlined his hopes for both himself and the team, saying ‘it should be good if together we were able to win something because then it is important to have this record, but I think it could be more important if you win a trophy.’
