In a show of support, eleven governors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) visited the party’s former National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, at his residence in Abuja.
Led by the chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Senator Hope Uzodimma, the governors expressed their appreciation for Adamu’s leadership and his role in leading the party to victory in the 2023 general election.
They commended his courage in resigning for the party’s interest and urged him to continue participating in the party’s activities.
The governors included representatives from Katsina, Ebonyi, Sokoto, Niger, Gombe, Benue, Jigawa, Imo, Ogun, Kebbi, and the acting governor of Ondo State.
Adamu had resigned from his position due to internal crisis and corruption allegations.
