APC Leader Gunned Down in Front of Family in Benue

Residents of Otukpo, Benue State, are mourning after the brutal killing of Hon. Ejeh Udeh, a respected chieftain of the All Progressives Congress — www.naijnaira.com reports.

The politician was attacked inside his Ugboju home in the early hours of Monday, sending fear through the quiet community.

According to DAILY POST, the killers struck around midnight, arriving on a motorcycle before carrying out the deadly assault.

Eyewitnesses revealed that the assailants ambushed Udeh as he returned home and waited for the right moment to strike.

“They surrounded him immediately he entered his house and opened fire without hesitation,” a source at the scene recounted.

The attack took place in front of his family members, leaving them traumatized by the horrifying incident.

Authorities confirmed that his remains were moved to the Otukpo General Hospital mortuary shortly after the assassination.

Security agencies in the state are yet to make any official statement regarding the murder or possible arrests.
