The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the African Democratic Congress (ADC) of fabricating claims to mask internal chaos, NaijNaira can report.
APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, stated that ADC’s recent allegations of government interference lack evidence and credibility.
ADC alleged that federal officials met with opposition figures in a covert attempt to weaken its structure, citing “credible intelligence.”
Morka responded that ADC failed to provide any proof or specific names involved in the so-called secret meeting.
He called the claims a “desperate distraction” and said no such meeting occurred. He described ADC’s leadership as a group grasping for relevance after orchestrating a power grab within their own party.
Morka said, “There is no reason for Mr. President or APC to expend valuable time and energy trying to sow confusion within ADC.”
He compared ADC’s instability to a collapsing house, saying the party is imploding from within.
APC also criticized former officials associated with ADC, calling them “inept politicians” who previously failed in leadership.
According to Morka, the ADC offers no meaningful governance alternative and relies on recycled narratives to attack President Tinubu’s record.
He added, “They may believe lies will win elections, but Nigerians are not that gullible.”
The APC says it remains focused on governance despite opposition tactics.
