Cobalt is an essential material in the creation of batteries for most consumer electronics, including Apple products like the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and MacBook.
While this may seem like a small step, it is important to see tech companies taking responsibility for their impact on the environment.
It should be noted that this is Apple’s current target and may not be achieved by the 2025 deadline.
