Arnold Schwarzenegger took to Twitter to express his pride in his son-in-law, Chris Pratt, after watching his latest film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
The action star praised Pratt’s performance, calling it a “perfect mix of comedy and action.”
Arnold wrote: ‘I saw #GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol3 last night and WOW. @prattprattpratt, you crushed it. A non-stop, perfect mix of comedy and action. I loved it and I’m very, very proud of you.’
Schwarzenegger and Pratt have become close since Pratt married Schwarzenegger’s eldest daughter, Katherine, in 2018.
The two bonded over their shared love of fitness, with their first meeting taking place in the gym. Schwarzenegger expressed his gratitude for Pratt’s kindness towards his daughter, saying that it was the most important thing for him.
The couple, who connected in church, have two daughters together and are open to having more children in the future.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to premiere in theaters on May 5, marking the end of the franchise’s current chapter.
