According to reports, Arsenal is in talks with Napoli for a potential swap deal involving Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen’s contract extension with Napoli has become difficult due to various negotiations, and with only one season left on his contract after this season, Napoli may be open to a player-exchange deal to avoid losing him for free or at a low transfer fee.
Arsenal, in need of an elite center-forward, is reportedly willing to trade their talisman Gabriel Jesus and some cash for Osimhen.
Other players Napoli is considering as replacements for Osimhen are Alvaro Morato and Jonathon David.
Osimhen, who finished as the top scorer in Serie A last season, has already scored 6 goals in 8 Serie A matches this season.
