According to reports, Arsenal have reached an agreement in principle with Chelsea for the transfer of Kai Havertz, one of Mikel Arteta’s top targets this summer.

The German international’s versatility and Champions League experience make him an attractive prospect for the Gunners.

Chelsea have been holding out for at least £75m, but Arsenal have reportedly agreed to pay approximately £65m for Havertz’s services.

Personal terms have already been agreed, and the two clubs are now finalizing the payment structure.

Havertz’s versatility could see him deployed in an attacking or midfield role for Arsenal, who are prioritizing strengthening their engine room this summer.

The Gunners are also reportedly pursuing Declan Rice, Romeo Lavia, and Jurrien Timber.
