Arsenal Score Two Late Goals to Secure Victory Over Leicester City

Arsenal secured a thrilling 4-2 victory over Leicester City at the Emirates, scoring two stoppage-time goals to move level with Manchester City on 14 points.

Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring with a well-placed shot after a smart assist from Jurrien Timber, while Leandro Trossard added a second just before halftime from Martinelli’s cross, giving the Gunners a 2-0 lead at the break.

However, Leicester fought back in the second half.

James Justin’s header, deflected off Kai Havertz, and his brilliant volley equalized the match, supported by a string of impressive saves from Leicester goalkeeper Mads Hermansen.

Despite the momentum swinging in Leicester’s favor, Arsenal found a late breakthrough.

Trossard’s volley from a corner deflected off Wilfred Ndidi to restore Arsenal’s lead in the fourth minute of added time.

Moments later, Havertz secured the win with a fourth goal in the ninth minute of stoppage time.

This win keeps Arsenal in close contention with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.
