Former Niger Delta militant Asari Dokubo recently met with President Ahmed Tinubu and presented him with over one million signatures supporting the secession of the Igbos from Nigeria.
In a video shared on social media, Dokubo urged Tinubu and the National Assembly to initiate a constitutional amendment to allow the Igbos to peacefully exit the country.
He argued that this would serve as a cleansing action for the entire nation.
Dokubo emphasized that the Igbos should be allowed to secede and make their own decisions, warning that if they leave, they may not have the opportunity to freely enter Nigeria again.
He stated that letting the Igbos go would be a significant favor to the black race globally and praised Tinubu as one of the best presidents the world has ever seen.
Dokubo also mentioned that certain markets and territories would no longer be accessible to the Igbos if they secede.
He concluded by stating that the Igbos should be given their own resources and allowed to go without any violence or conflict.
