The Aso Rock Villa is currently undergoing renovations in anticipation of the upcoming inauguration of President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu on May 29th.
As the current resident of the Defence House, Tinubu will move into the Villa after his inauguration.
Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President, shared on his Twitter page that works have already begun, with a painter seen working on the premises.
Shehu tweeted, “Painter at work. Villa wearing a new look for the incoming President.”
Once Tinubu takes office, he will become the eighth Nigerian leader to rule from the newly renovated presidential palace.
