The Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Abubakar Atiku, has tackled the President-elect, Bola Tinubu over his calls for healing after a tumultuous poll, for being allegedly hypocritical.

Tinubu, in an official statement signed by him, had expressed sadness at the divisions that followed the polls.

In response to Tinubu’s speech, Mr. Phrank Shaibu, the Special Assistant on Public Communication to Atiku Abubakar, condemned the calls for healing being laced with hypocrisy.

He accused Tinubu of turning a blind eye to individuals connected to the APC who allegedly terrorized and intimidated non-indigenes in Lagos.

Atiku, however, praised the US and EUor condemning the widespread attack on Igbos during the election period.

Atiku maintains that perpetrators of election violence and malpractices must be penalized by law before his party would accept any reconciliation efforts. Hi
