Oladapo Oyebanji, better known by his stage name D’banj, is a well-known Nigerian singer has responded to the testimony of one Ikenna Dike, who narrowly escaped death when the seven-story building fell in the Banana Island region of Lagos State.
According to sources, on Wednesday, April 12, a storey structure that the Lagos State Government claimed was not authorised collapsed which led to injuring multiple workers to varying degrees.
According to one of the survivors, Dike claimed that he was left standing on the ground beneath the debris without a mark on his body.
DBanj thanked God in the post’s comment section for preserving the bricklayer’s life despite the slim possibilities.

According to The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) statement, it reads:
“Few, who sustained injuries are being treated. There is no fatality. This unfortunate incident happened while casting was being done,” the agency added.
