Barcelona could be set to make waves in the transfer market this summer, with reports that the Nou Camp club are needing to cut €200 million off their wage bill.

This could mean great news for Manchester United’s transfer hopes, as two prime targets of theirs – Frenkie de Jong and Ansu Fati – may become available as a result of this cost-slashing measure.

De Jong is worth up to €78 million, while United could look to sign Fati for around €90 million.

Furthermore, Barcelona are willing to let go of other players such as Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Ousmane Dembele, Sergi Roberto and Franck Kessie in order to reduce costs even further.

Therefore this possible wage bill trim is sure to have Man Utd fans excited about the prospect of seeing top talent come through Old Trafford this summer.
