Appeal Court Nullifies Abacha’s Election As Kano's PDP Governorship Candidate

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

The Court of Appeal in Kano has issued a ruling that Mohammed Abacha is not the legally recognised Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate.

The ruling overturned an earlier decision by the High Court that had named Abacha as the PDP standard bearer.

Instead, Justice Usman Musale’s three-person panel announced that Sadiq Wali, who had already been recognised by the Independent National Electoral Commission, was to remain as the valid PDP governorship candidate.

Abacha was found to have no right to challenge the primary election result due to his lack of participation.

Further details are forthcoming.
