Manchester United’s star midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, may miss the upcoming Premier League match against Tottenham due to an ankle injury.
Fernandes was subbed off during United’s FA Cup semi-final victory against Brighton and was seen with ice strapped to his ankle.
Tottenham also suffered injury blows with their captain, Hugo Lloris, being subbed off at half-time during their 6-1 loss to Newcastle.
United’s defence has also been hit with injuries, with Lisandro Martinez out for the season and Raphael Varane expected to miss another month of action.
While Fernandes’ availability remains uncertain, his absence could be detrimental to United’s midfield balance.
Tottenham will be led by interim manager Ryan Mason, who took over after Cristian Stellini was relieved of his duties following their loss to Newcastle.
