Veteran actress Bukky Wright has returned to Nigeria and confirmed her plans to rejoin Nollywood, NaijNaira can report. She shared her next chapter during a conversation with BBC Yoruba, where she revealed she’s also preparing for marriage.
According to BBC Yoruba, Wright said her move abroad years ago was driven by her commitment to raising her children. “I relocated because of my kids,” she explained. Now, adults, they’ve encouraged her to follow her own goals.
While abroad, Wright pursued a degree in IT Auditing and Cybersecurity, a move she once thought impossible. She advised others not to settle for less, even in a foreign land.
She added that during a visit to the Kaaba in Mecca, she prayed to find love again. Speaking on industry trends, Wright said, “Men prefer modesty—they want something left to imagine.”
