Nigerian Afrofusion singer Burna Boy has released the music video for his latest single, “Sittin on Top of the World,” following his fourth win as BET’s “Best International Act.”
The track, which was released on June 2, showcases Burna Boy’s rise to stardom and versatility as a singer.
The music video, directed by Troy Roscoe, immerses viewers in a wave of nostalgic vibes from classic 90s party scenes.
Burna Boy gained fame after releasing “Like to Party” from his debut album in 2013 and recently set a record in Nigeria with his fifth album, “Twice As Tall,” winning the “Best World Music Album” category at the Grammy Awards.
He also performed at the 2023 UEFA Champions League final and became the first African artist to hit one billion Audiomack streams.
