The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has lifted the post-no-debit restriction on the bank accounts of 440 individuals and companies.
This means that debit transactions, including ATMs and cheques, can now be made on these accounts.
The CBN did not provide a reason for this action, but banks have been instructed to notify the affected customers.
Among the companies on the list are Bamboo Systems Technology Limited, Escale Oil & Gas Limited, Rise Vest Technologies Limited, Chaka Technologies Limited, abokiFX Limited,
Nairabet International, Northwood Energy Services, and Proport Marine Limited.
This comes after the CBN froze the accounts of 18 companies in 2021, but those accounts have now been unfrozen.
